Additionally, those who pre-order the game will once again have access to early gameplay ahead of the public release.
CoD Black Ops 6 Beta
Consistent with previous entries in the Call of Duty franchise over the last 10 years, players will have the opportunity to participate in an early access beta for Black Ops 6 prior to the game’s launch. This beta period typically occurs sometime between August and October. However, given Black Ops 6’s earlier release date this year, the beta is expected to be made available to players at an even earlier timeframe.
In the past, Sony had an agreement with Activision that allowed PlayStation users to access the multiplayer beta for Call of Duty games one week earlier than other platforms. However, with Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision, all previous exclusivity deals have been eliminated. This means there will no longer be any platform-specific early access for the Black Ops 6
Black Ops 6 Story
The upcoming Black Ops 6 will be set in the early 1990s and will draw inspiration from real historical events and circumstances. The game’s single-player campaign centers around a scenario where the US government has been infiltrated, leading to loyal soldiers being falsely branded as traitors. These “traitors” must then go undercover to address the emerging threat facing the nation.
Black Ops 6 will feature an open-ended campaign, where players can make choices throughout the story that influence how the narrative unfolds. The game also incorporates mysterious narrative elements, adding more depth and nonlinearity compared to previous Call of Duty campaigns. Based on the information revealed in the Black Ops 6 showcase, players will need to strategically equip themselves with an arsenal of weapons, gadgets, and other tactical tools and trickery in order to advance through the story.
Frank Woods, a recognizable character from previous Black Ops games, is returning in Black Ops 6. His reappearance was hinted at in Warzone and officially confirmed during the June showcase. In the new game, Woods will be embroiled in a mysterious conspiracy unfolding within the US government.
